How do you wrap your hair at night?

That is an often asked question by us naturals. I know that was something I had difficulty with. I would go to be with my hair out under my satin scarf.....but then I realized just tying my hair with a satin scarf was not enough. I would wake up with a "bed head" and I would have single strand knots galore. Something had to change.

When I do a twist out or any style I love for my style to last a few days....and going to bed with just my satin scarf will not help tme to achieve that goal. So now I twist my hair at night. I go to bed with twists sticking out all over my head.  Also by installing my twist at night it help to elongate my hair. I have type 4 hair so shrinkage comes with it.
A twist out using Cantu Shea Butter for Naturals Curling Cream.

I twisted my hair is big/medium twists.

Wrap my hair with my yellow satin scarf and to bed I go!!!!

HOW DO YOU WRAP UP YOUR HAIR AT NIGHT TO PROTECT YOUR TWIST OUT, BRAID OUT, OR ANY STYLE????

Replacing my Shampoo

What can you wash your hair with if you do not use shampoo??? Water alone will not cut it!!!! Instead of using shampoo use conditioner instead.....this is called Co-Washing. I am not saying that I am cutting out shampoo completely but I will do more Co-Washes.

The shampoo I am using is Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo. That shampoo is really good and it does not strip my hair, however I would like to add more moisture to my hair. So I decided to purchase cheap conditioners to do Co-Washing. I went to my local Dollar General and I bought VO5 conditioners. I purchased two and hopefully this will give me the extra moisture I am looking for.

Please excuse my bottle...I have had this bottle for while lol

I purchased these two conditioners today....one is strengthening and the other is for moisture. I only paid $2 for both conditioners. There is alot of product for that price.

Shea Moisture VS. Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair

Ok so we all love products that will keep out hair moisturized, soft, and lets not forget at a REASONABLE PRICE!!!!! I have tried many products while on this natural hair journey. Some products were in my favor and some not so much. Recently I have came across a hair product I may fall in love with.....and that product is CANTU SHEA BUTTER FOR NATURAL HAIR CURLING CREAM!!! Trying this product was totally trial and error (of course that is when trying any new product).

I purchased Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Curling Cream about 1 month and a half ago. This is how the purchase took place......I was running low on my Curl Enhancing Smoothie by Shea Moisture and I knew I need to make another purchase. My initial intent was to by Curl Enhancing Smoothie but that changed quickly when I saw the price tag $$$$$$. The price went from $9.99 to $11.99....that $2.00 difference is a big deal to me lol. So I was in search for another product that could do the same job as my Curl Enhancing Smoothie.

I came across Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Curling Cream and not to mention it was cheaper than my Curl Enhancing Smoothie. The Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Curling Cream was about $5.99. So I decided to give it and try and to my surprise I have to give it Two Thumbs Up. This stuff is amazing!!! I do believe this is a dupe to the Curl Enhancing Smoothie. Both products have similar smells and are very moisturizing!!!

The Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Curling Cream is a dupe for Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (in my opinion). Also the Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Coconut Milk Shine & Hold Mist is a dupe for Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist.

Both products are amazing and I have love for them both!!! As for right now I will stick with Cantu because it is a little lighter on my "COLLEGE POCKETS" lol.
